January 11, 2008

I’ve had a tough time deciding what to give my friend in India who’s getting married this week. I just have no clue what kind of a gift to give him until the idea of gift certificates was suggested by a friend. He also pointed me towards Sahara Care House website. Its an amazing service where they will deliver gifts and a whole host of other things to India. Right at the door step of your loved ones. I gifted him a Shopper’s Stop gift certificate and thus gave him the power to choose!!!

January 9, 2008

My parents just moved in with me and I only have my grandparents living in Delhi. They have always wanted to go on this pilgrimage to Haridwar. I was looking for a way to book their tickets for them and surprise them. I looked on the internet and came across this really useful site called Sahara Care House. It is run by the Sahara group which is a reputed Indian business house. They have a whole variety of services and one of them is booking railway tickets. You can pay in Dollars and get the tickets delivered at the doorstep anywhere in India.
